1. The Service
VDOAPP is a free, browser-based video and photo editor with AI features, plus educational guides. The editor runs on your device and does not upload your media to us. No account is required. We may add, change or remove features, or suspend or end the Service, at any time.
2. Your content
- It's yours. You keep all rights to the media you use and the videos, captions, thumbnails and other output you create. We claim no rights over them and never receive them.
- You're responsible for it. You need the rights and permissions for everything you use — music, footage, images, fonts you upload, and the likeness and voice of people who appear.
- Built-in assets. Stickers, built-in fonts, sound effects and effects in the editor may be used in your videos, including commercially. Fonts remain under their own open licences.
3. AI features
- Third-party models. AI tools use openly licensed models (such as Whisper, Opus-MT, Kokoro, Depth Anything, MediaPipe, RNNoise and BRIA RMBG-1.4) that your browser downloads from their hosts. Each is provided under its own licence. Notably, BRIA RMBG-1.4 (used for Any subject photo cut-outs) is licensed for non-commercial use; if you use that feature for commercial work, it's your responsibility to check and follow BRIA's licence terms.
- AI output can be wrong. Captions, translations, face detection, highlights and other AI results may contain errors or omissions. Review them before publishing — especially where accuracy, privacy or safety matters.
- Synthetic voices. Don't use text-to-speech to impersonate a real person or to mislead people about who is speaking.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to create or share content that:
- is illegal or infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- sexualises, exploits or endangers children;
- harasses, threatens or defames anyone, or incites violence or hatred;
- deceives people in harmful ways — fraud, impersonation, or manipulated media presented as authentic to mislead;
- exposes private individuals without appropriate care, such as publishing identifiable footage of people in sensitive situations.
Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, access it without authorisation, or overload it by automated means.
5. Our content
The VDOAPP name and logo, the site design, the editor software and the text of our guides and tool pages belong to us. You may link to our pages and quote short passages with attribution, but may not republish our guides or copy our software without permission.
6. Advertising and links
Our website pages may show ads from third parties such as Google, and our guides link to other sites. We aren't responsible for third-party ads, sites or services; their own terms and privacy policies apply. See our Privacy Policy for how ads and analytics work here.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or work with every browser, device or file.
Your projects live in your browser. Clearing site data, private browsing, a crash or running out of memory can lose work. Keep your original files and save your exports. Guides are general information — including the privacy guide, which is not legal advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VDOAPP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, content, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. As the Service is free, our total liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and some limits may not apply where you live.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Using the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
